Banksia Integrifolia is a hardy tree growing from 5m - 25m in height depending on local conditions. It is often upright when young, and at maturity may have a spread of between 3m - 6m. The foliage is bright green and spiky when young, developing to thick and leathery leaves, dark green on the upper side and silver underneath. It displays bottle-brush like flower spikes up to 12cm long, which are pale yellow in colour.

This distinctive native tree is found on the east coast of Australia. It has rough patterned bark and long green leaves with a silver underside. Pale yellow flowers are a cylinder shape can be seen in Summer to Winter the flowers can be up to 12cm long. The seed pods stay on the branch for long periods and look very ornamental.
